I strive to create digital experiences that deliver value to both the user and the business.
Working at the intersection of business strategy, technical development and user experience design, I enable transformational change through digital products and services.
"If you are looking for a great freelance UX expert, Martin Wiesemborski is your go-to-guy! I loved working with him and he really does great, innovative work. HIRE! THIS! GUY!"
2022 - 2023
I worked with the checkout and wishlist team at OTTO, shipping incremental changes for Europe's biggest E-Commerce player during difficult times in the business.
"Martin is a highly skilled UX designer with a remarkable hands-on mentality and a solid understanding of both customer and business requirements. His exceptional ability to create valuable digital experiences, coupled with his positive energy and deep understanding of user flows make him an indispensable asset for any project. And if you get the chance to attend one of his legendary kitchen parties - take it!"

Ride-pooling provider MOIA uses a lot of custom apps and software solutions. To navigate and pick up customers, drivers use a special navigation app called Vehicle Guidance App. Together with the team I worked on implementing new features as well as stabilizing and optimizing the user experience.
"Working with Martin was a great experience. He gives attention to detail, understands the business needs, and delivers great work on time. Also in addition to his great work, he brought positive energy to the team and worked smoothly with every person in the team. Even within a short period, he brought great value to the product and the team."
2019 - 2020
LichtBlick is Germany's fifth biggest energy provider and one of the first truly sustainable ones. After more then 20 years on the market, the brand needed a complete overhaul to regain it's competitiveness and make green energy the new normal.

In April 2020, I launched Ladenhüter, which translates to shelf hugger but also business angel. It was created during a hackathon by the federal government in just 48 hours. Together with a small team, we share success stories from local businesses to inspire others. And even more important: detailed and hands-on advice on how to apply these ideas to your own business.

MOIA is the new car pooling service by Volkswagen. For its launch in Hamburg, I created a scalable platform that introduced the brand, explained the service, and also pushes heavily on app downloads and hiring the required drivers.
website"Martin immediately convinced us with his ideas and the concept for our website. Our objectives and the overall task were understood, conceptually thought through and a perfect solution was presented. Martin's work is extremely professional, his expert knowledge and his way of working together have enriched our project immensely."

1&1 is one of Germany's biggest internet and mobile service provider with millions of customers that want to manage their plans, edit contract details and check their usage.
I was tasked to design a new, mobile-first self-service platform that allows for personalized upselling offerings while still being optimized for usability and service. I made heavy use of service design blueprints to factor in every touchpoint in the customer journey.
2018 - 2019
MACH helps governments and other institutions in the public sector to 'go digital'. But when it came to their own online experience, they needed some help themselves. Working at elbkapitäne, I helped launch a new magazine to highlight the innovative work taking place at MACH, in just a few weeks. Followed by a complete overhaul of the content-heavy corporate website - focussing on lead generation and story telling.
corporate websitezukunft.mach„Martin helped us reinventing the MACH online appearance with our main website and newly launched magazine. He was the driving creative and strategic force in all projects. I value Martin for his outstanding UX perspective and his ability to oversee every project from the beginning to the end, working on the initial strategy up to the finishing touches.“
